Dirt Resistance
Normally, both types of stone faces are coated before use to protect various dirts as well as increase the shine. Marble has a smooth texture, and the stone grain particles are arranged very densely, which makes the coating rarely stick to the stone face because the coating is very difficult to infiltrate. Marble is therefore a stone that needs to be coated on the stone face periodically in order to always be durable.
As for granite, there are quite a lot of gaps between the stone grains, which makes the coating penetrate and adhere well. Most coatings are done the first time, only once can last a long time. Based on these properties, it can be concluded that granite is more resistant to stains.
Maintenance
